Terrazzo

Used for floor and wall treatments, Terrazzo consists of chips of marble, quartz, granite or glass, poured with a cement binder and/or polymeric. Metal strips often divide sections, or pattern changes. After it is cured it is ground and polished smooth or otherwise finished to produce a uniformly textured surface.
